Second place entry of the “Makran Free Zone’s Tollgate Competition“, this tollgate has been designed to have two sides. The side facing the free zone has an industrial facade and the side facing the city has an urban facade. In this way the Tollgate tries to connect and mitigate these two different entities with two different senses of place and character.

It also provides a vast shaded area that is much needed in a hot arid climate such as Makran. the large triangular glass facade, let the managers to fully observe the coming and leaving traffic.
